FREBT MATRIX

FREBT is a framework for examining how human experience becomes visible to systems and how systems gain claims over what they recognize.

The matrix has two axes:

FRET
The degree to which a human signal becomes legible.

DEBT
The degree to which a structure gains a claim.

These axes create four conditions:

WITHDRAWAL
Low FRET / Low DEBT
Low visibility and low structural claim.

OVERFLOW
High FRET / Low DEBT
High visibility without stable structural possession.

CONVERSION
High FRET / High DEBT
A legible human signal that is also strongly held by a structure.

CAPTURE
Low FRET / High DEBT
A strong structural claim over a weak, obscured, or difficult-to-recover human signal.

At the center is:

THE HINGE

The threshold where a human condition becomes a system object.

The FREBT Matrix is not a personality test, moral ranking, diagnosis, or fixed taxonomy. It is a public reading and analytical framework.

It may be used to ask:

What becomes visible?
What remains illegible?
Who gains a claim?
What is preserved?
What is reduced?
What is lost in translation?
